Liveshow Report Part 2: Other Divisions

There were several different divisions at the show. Unfortunately as I didn't have my trusty camera I didn't take to many pictures so I pretty much only have pictures of the Best in Shows in the different divisions.

Animal Artistry Show

The Animal Artistry show consisted of 3 championships, AA, AAA and AAE. I only had two horses to show , Athame (AA Sabiha ret) and Jax (my newly finished AA Welsh Sec C). They're both AA's so they showed in the same class, placing second and fifth. Athame claimed the Reserve champion title behind Theodore, the winner of the AA class. They also followed each other to claim the Best in Show Animal Artistry and the Best in Show Reserve.

Best in Show Animal Artistry: Theodore, AA SOAS OF
Best in Show Animal Artistry Reserve: Athame, AA Sabiha ret.

Eberl Show

The Eberl show was probably one of the divisions I was looking forward to the most as I love Brigitte Eberls sculptures. There were 2 championships in this division, Resin and Plastic. I showed a total of 6 models in this division, 4 in the plastic classes and 2 in the resin classes. Black Pepper (Tr. Zenyatta's Colt OF) took third in his class. Charisma (Tr. GG Valentine OF), Lord (Tr. Keltic Salinero OF) and Fandango (Tr. Valegro OF) showed in the same class placing first, fourth and fifth.

In the resin class Belize (Eberl Genoveva rep. S. Nordström) took third and Chester VS (Eberl Caitano rep. S. Nordström) took sixth. In the end a really nice Eberl mini Resin claimed the Best in Show title with a gorgeously painted Babette as reserve.

Best in Show Eberl Reserve: AR Belleamie, Eberl Babette rep. A. Gustafsson

Bendable Custom

The bendables custom show consisted of 6 classes. I was supposed to show 6 horses in this division but two of them weren't finished in time so I only showed 4. The first of them was Tess (Schleich Trakhener Foal rep. T. Wolmer) who took first in her class. Newly finished Valencia (CollectA Pinto Mare rep. T. Melin) and Avatar (CollectA Hanoverian rep. T. Melin) showed in the same class and placed third and fifth. Newly finished Dakota (WIA Bella Rose rep. T. Melin) took second in her class. In the end the same Ardennais who took champion reserve in the halter show claimed the Best in Show title with an amazingly detailed Walkaloosa as reserve.

Best in Show Bendable Custom Reserve: Spotted Midnight, Safari LTD TWH rep. S. Necco

Fantasy Show

The Fantasy show is always nice to see even though I don't have any horses to show in the division. This time it consisted of a really nice variety from unicorns, Pegasuses, alicorns, decorators and more. The Best in Show was a really cool woodgrain model and the reserve an adorable unicorn foal.

Best in Show Fantasy: Ukhuni, Breyer Mu Wen Ma OF
Best in Show Fantasy Reserve: Shakaar, AA Cupid Unicorn OF

Custom by Owner, Novice Show

Was the smallest division of the entire show, with only one entry, which of course was crowned Best in Show. He was nicely painted and haired and it was fun to see him.

Best in Show Custom by Owner Novice: Hestor, Revell cm L. Hellberg
Vattenpasset

Was a special division for winners from previous years of the show. The winner was a beautiful Animal Artistry Welsh with the beautiful Eberl mini Tornado as reserve.

Vattenpasset Best in Show: Cascade's Lawman, AA SE Rearing Welsh sec A Stallion OF
Vattenpasset Best in Show Reserve: Tactic, Eberl Tornado rep. J. DeCurir

Bantam and Micromini Show

The small guys got their own division and it was really fun to see how good these little ones really are. I only had one to show, Ayers Rock Brigadör (MM Brigadier rep. A. Gustafsson) but he took first in his class. The Best in Show title went to a really small H0 railroad model with a slightly larger resin as reserve.

Best in Show Bantam/Micromini: LuLu, H0 Railroad Br Clydesdale Knockoff rr. C. Riley
Best in Show Bantam/Micromini Reserve: Delia of Décorima, RC Souvenir rep. D. Laird Ban

Brekables Show

Although I'm not that into breakables I actually own one, which showed in this division. Bellini of Décorima (Lakeshore Houdini OF) took fifth in his class. So many models in this division were absolutely amazing. Two of my favourites managed to claim the Best in Show and Reserve titles. After seeing those I might reconsider my "no-breakables policy". 😊

Best in Show Breakable: Thorsten, Oberon CG J. Berkwitz
Best in Show Breakable Reserve: Whatdidyousay Z, AAA Mini TB CMG

OF Extravaganza Show

I have quite the OF collection so the OF division was a division I definitely looked forward to. It was divided into two championships, Bendable and Plastic.

I decided to show some of my favourite OFs so I didn't bring any bendables. The bendable championship was quite tough but in the end an adorable foal took first with a really nice fjord as reserve.

Champion Bendable: Breaking Dawn, Schleich TWH Yearling OF
Champion Bendable Reserve: Björn den Store, CollectA Fjord stallion OF
I showed no less than 8 horses in the plastic championship. Some of them did quite well. Best results came from Imperia (Sidesaddle Strapless OF) who took first, and Ancient Gold (Tr. Akhal-Teke OF) who took second place. Elessar (Copperfox Finnegan OF) managed to take second place in his class behind a beautiful Peter Stone Palouse. They claimed the championship titles and then went on to become Best in Show and Best in Show Reserve of the OF show.

Champion Plastic and Best in Show OF: Miss Rose Garden, PS Palouse "As You Wish" 3/50 Matte SR OF
Champion Plastic Reserve and Best in Show OF Reserve: Elessar, Copperfox Finnegan OF
Workmanship

The workmanship division was divided into 7 smaller "shows".

The first was simple plastic in which I showed two horses. Madonna (Sm. G2 ASB rep. C. Johansson) took first in her class with Since You Don't Love (Sm. G2 ASB rep. A. Gustafsson) as second. Madonna went on to claim the Best in Show title with the awesome walkaloosa who did well in the bendables custom show as reserve.

Simple Plastic Best in Show: Madonna, Breyer SMG2 ASB rep C. Johansson
Simple Plastic Best In Show Reserve: Spotted Midnight, Safari Ltd TWH rep S. Necco
In the medium plastic show I showed three horses. Bailando, my NaMoPaiMo model (Sm. G2 Andalusian rr. T. Melin), Ice Baby, Ice (Sm. G2 TB rr. C. Johansson) and Neptune (Sm. G2 WB rr. T. Melin). They all showed in the same class taking first, second and fourth place. I was happily surprised (but proud) when Bailando won his class but when he went on to claim the Best in Show title I was almost about to cry with pride! Bailando is probably my favourite out of all the models I have made so far and he is kind of special as he is one of the bigger resculpts I have made. Ice Baby, Ice claimed the champion reserve title but I barely noticed as I was still in chock that Bailando had done so good!

Medium Plastic Best in Show: Bailando, Sm. G2 Andalusian rr T. Melin
Medium Plastic Best in Show Reserve: Ice Baby, Ice, Sm. G2 TB rr C. Johansson
The drastic plastic division was fun to see but I didn't have any models to show in it. The mini from the Bantam/Micromini division held her own in the drastic plastic show too claiming the Best in Show title with a cute hackney as reserve.

Drastic Plastic Best in Show: LuLu, H0 Railroad Br Clydesdale Knockoff rr. C. Riley
Drastic Plastic Best in Show Reserve: Jack Pridey, Sm. G2 ASB cm S. Nordström
In simple resin I showed three models, two of them was my new acquisitions. Fallen Hero (Valor rep. N. Söhn) managed to take first in his class with Nahele (El Embosco rep. J. Hall) as third. Don't Call Me Nymphadora (Moxie rep. A. Brock) managed to take first in her class and went on to claim the Best in Show Reserve title behind a really nice grey Arabian.

In Bantam/Micromini workmanship I only showed one horse. Fallen Hero then went on to claim the Best in Show title with Maverick as Reserve.

Favourite of Favourites

At the show all of the entrants got to chose their favourite model of the show and these favourites where then voted on to find the favourite of favourites. The winner was the beautiful grey Arabian who did well in the workmanship division. The reserve was the beautiful Ardennais who was crowned champion draftbred in the halter show.

It was a fun couple of days at the show and I can't wait for the next show.
