Show Report Plastic Division

The plastic division was slightly larger than the resin division and contained both OF and customs. As with the resin division this division started with the foal championship.

I had 3 foals to show. Black Pepper (Tr. Zenyatta's First Colt OF) took first in his class, as did R. Peppermint (PS Weanling rr. S. Nordström) in hers. Troublemaker (Sm. Scrambling foal rr T. Wolmer) took second in his class behind the pony foal who went on to claim the championship title. The reserve title went to a paso fino foal.

Champion Foal: Ruff, Cl. Mesteno Foal cm J. Brooks
Champion Foal Reserve: Hollywood Belle, Sm. Prancing Foal rep. C. Clifford
Arabians were up next and out of my three Arabians Azrafel Ibn Shai (Huckleberry Bey OF) did best winning his class and Shaniqua and Farasha took third and fourth out of five in their class. The classic Arabian mares did good at this show as both the champion and reserve were customs on that mold.

Champion Arabian: Sameerah, Cl. Arabian Mare cm Q. Van de Weijde
Champion Arabian Reserve: Ahvaz Monat, Cl. Arabian Mare cm S. Nordström
Drafters were next and I only had one to show. He didn't do too good, placing last in his class but there were a lot of nice drafters to look at. The champion title went to a Vladimir Heavy Draft with an adorable Fjordhorse as reserve (another one that I'd love to own!)

Champion Drafter: Aleksej, PS Trotting Drafter rep. K. McKenzie
Champion Drafter Reserve: Sm. G4 Para-Dressage Horse cm P. Nilsson
For the pony championship I had 3 horses to show and all of them showed in the same class. Mirabelle (under the name Chablis, Sm. Swaps rr by me), Remembrance (PS Pony Shoal OF) and Bailey (Sm. G3 Jumper rr by me) took first, second and fifth out of five. The cutest little Shetland pony claimed the Champion title with a well-known Connemara as his reserve.

Champion Pony: Wolverine, Schleich Shetland Pony cm E. Rönnberg
Champion Pony Reserve: Crownhill Malackey, Tr. POA cm P. Nilsson
Making up for my lack of horses in the riding- and carriage horse championship in the resin division, I had 6 to show in the plastic division. White Phantom (Tr. Templado OF) took fourth out of four and Bocelli (Tr. Tregoyd Journeyman OF) took sixth out of six in their classes. Since You Don't Love Me (Sm. G2 ASB rep. A. Gustafsson) and Lotus (Tr. Harmonie Tuigpaard OF) showed in the same class and they took second and fourth out of four. D'Artagnan (Tr. Esprit OF) took fifth out of five and Ancient Gold (Tr. Akhal-Teke OF) took third out of three in their classes. So it was not the best championship for my horses but it had some really nice horses and well deserving winner in the knabstrup champion and P.R.E. reserve.

Champion Riding- and Carriage Horse: Merrilin J, Sm. G2 WB cm A. Zaharenkova
Champion Riding and Carriage Horse Reserve: Aro de Luna, CollectA Hannoverian Mare cm P. Nilsson
Again it was time for my favourite championship, sporthorses. I showed Fandango (Tr. Valegro OF) and Phoenix (Tr. Mistral Hojris OF) in the same class and they got first and third out of three. Charisma (Tr. GG Valentine OF) took second in her class and Imperia (Tr. Sidesaddle Strapless OF) and Lord (Tr. Keltic Salinero OF) took first and second in their class. Sunny Side N (Tr. Seattle Slew OF) got second in his class as did Nimble's Last Thief (Tr. Zenyatta OF) in her class and Royal's Mexican Heat (Sm. G2 TB rr. S. Nordström) got fifth out of five. The champion voting was tough and I was surprised and happy to realize that Fandango claimed the champion title with an old still-going-strong thoroughbred custom as reserve.

Champion Sporthorse: Fandango, Tr. Valegro OF
Champion Sporthorse Reserve: Cry Dream, Cl. Kelso rh LMS

Stockhorses were up next and my only stockhorse got third out of three. With the winner of his class claiming the champion title with a really nice quarterhorse mare as reserve.

Champion Stockhorse: R. Nocci Nocci, PS ISH cm S. Nordström
Champion Stockhorse Reserve: Potters Gulch, Tr. Adios rh S. Nordström
The wildhorse and crossbred championship was really small and the mustangs claimed the titles with my own Fuego getting reserve.

Champion Wildhorse and Crossbred: Llaqtaymanta, Tr. Indian Pony rep. S. Nordström
Champion Wildhorse and Crossbred Reserve: Fuego, Tr. Hidalgo OF
The other Equus championship contained a lot of cute longears with mules getting the top honors.

Champion Other Equus: Betti Boop, Sm. Mule cm S. Nordström
Champion Other Equus Reserve: Molly, PS Chips Mule SR OF
Once again the Best in Show voting was rather tough but once again the winners really deserved it! I especially like the little Knabstrup.

Best in Show Plastic:  Merrilin J, Sm. G2 WB cm A. Zaharenkova
Best in Show Plastic Reserve:
Aleksej, PS Trotting Drafter rep. K. McKenzie
