Show Report: Resin Halter

The resin division was run semi-parallell to the plastic division but I like to divide the report to make
it more clear.

As usual we started with the foals. It was quite a small championship but the horses were beautiful! My only foal in this division, Cochise (MM Flicker rep. L. Morris) took first in his class and went on to be champion reserve behind a sweet little arabian foal.

Champion Resin Foal: Nephelites. RC Very Little One rep. T. Wolmer
Champion Resin Foal Reserve: Cochise, MM Flicker rep. L. Morris
Arabians were another championship on the smaller side but with some beautiful horses. My only arabian, Sayad (Mini Khemo rep. S. Nordström) placed second in his class behind a gorgeous Adib. The followed each other claiming Champion and Reserve.

Champion Resin Arabian Reserve: Sayad, RC Mini Khemo rep. S. Nordström

We went on to drafthorses after Arabians and I had 2 to show. Brego (Mini Haggis rep. T. Melin) took second in his class and Anemone (RC Mara rep. S. Tostanoski) surprisingly won her class! In the end it was the day of the Irish Cobs as both the champion and the reserve were Irish Cobs.

Champion Resin Drafthorse: Toro, AA Rearing Drafter rep. V. Crawley
Champion Resin Drafthorse Reserve: Galliano, HA Galileo rep. P. Nilsson
I only had a few horses to show in the next championship, which was ponies. My ponies If I Could Dream (HA Misty Dawn rep. A. Gustafsson) and Colibri Daughter (Pasha rep. S. Nordström) took first and second in their class which I was happily surprised by! In the end the winner of the Shetlandpony class went on to be Champion with an adorable Welsh sec A as Reserve.

Champion Resin Pony: Joker, HA Shetland rep. P. Lawson
Champion Resin Pony Reserve: Crownhill No September, HA Tirion rep. P. Nilsson
Riding- and carriagebreeds were up after the ponies and my only horse, Raphael (RC Gabriel rep. T. Melin) did absolutely great! Not only winning his class but also becoming champion reserve after a really nice morgan!

Champion Resin Riding- and Carriage Horse: Viewhill Scandinavian Trademark, RC Covenant Renewed rep. S. Nordström
Champion Resin Riding- and Carriage Horse Reserve: Raphael, RC Gabriel rep. T. Melin
Unfortunately I don't have any mini resin sporthorses ready for showing so unfortunately I had no horses to show in my favourite championship. I still got to drool over the beauties and one of my favourites were the warmblood who ended up being Champion reserve behind a really nice thoroughbred.

Champion Resin Sporthorse: Bugatti, AA Chasing Rainbows rep. P. Nilsson
Champion Resin Sporthorse Reserve: Marius Rex, Da Caprio rep. E. Ipes

I'm not really a stockhorse person but I actually brought no less than 3 stockhorses to show. Don't Call Me Nymphadora (RC Moxie rep. A. Brock) did great and got first place in her class and a champion reserve title behind another Moxie, painted as an appaloosa. It Takes Two To Tango (RC Moxie rep. T. Melin) and Shot in The Dark (RC Bat Girl rep. T. Melin) got second and third out of three in their class.

Champion Resin Stockhorse: Tiger Lily, RC Moxie rep. P. Lawson
Champion Resin Stockhorse Reserve: Don't Call Me Nymphadora, RC Moxie rep. A. Brock
The wild- and crossbreds championship was on the smaller side and I only had one horse to show, my sweet little Cheyenne (MM Sierra rep. L. Morris) took second in her class and was champion reserve after the classwinner.

Champion Resin Wild- and Crossbreds: Khezekooni, EAC Mustang rep. C. Johansson
Champion Resin Wild- and Crossbreds Reserve: Cheyenne, MM Sierra rep. L. Morris
Last for the day was the other Equus championship, which was also quite small and both the champion and the reserve was adorable mules!

Champion Resin Other Equus: Ellie, RC Miss Ellie Mae rep. P. Lawson
Champion Resin Other Equus Reserve: Frank, RC Frank rep. P. Lawson

Best in Show was awarded to Toro, the beautiful Irish Cob who was crowned champion drafthorse and Best in Show reserve was awarded to one of my favourite's of the day, KZ Khazad, the gorgeously painted Adib who claimed the champion arabian title. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any pictures of the Best in Shows and their prices.
