After the Plastic Division it was time for the Resin and Porcelain Division. I don't have a whole lot of resin horses but I love the ones I have no matter how good or bad they do at shows.
First up, again, was the foals. I only had one foal to show, Helios (Mink Oliver rep. S. Kern) and he set the bar high by winning his class.

Champion Foal: Lily Rose, Lily rep. Lawson
Champion Foal Reserve: Cato, Poquito rep. L. Verbruggen |
Next up was Arabians and once again I only have one horse to show. Seeing how many beautiful arabian resin there is out there I didn't think that my Athame (AA Sabiha ret.) would do too well. She usually doesn't do that well at liveshows but she is still one of my absolute favourites of my collection. This time she suprised me and made me very proud, she took first in her class and I couldn't have been any prouder at that moment. The title winners were gorgeous horses and it wasn't easy voting for a champion and reserve.

Champion Arabian: Sasori Yuna, Eberl Leni rep. M. Berg
Champion Arabian Reserve: Sasori Wild Angel, Delilah rep. J. Vingerling |
I had no horses to show in the next championship which was the Riding- and Carriage horse championship. There were a lot of drool worthy models and one of my absolute favourites of the bunch was the one to claim the championship title.

Champion Riding horse and Carriage horse: Majestad, Fuerte rep. S. Nordström
Champion Riding horse and Carriage horse Reserve: Chente J, Adriano rep. S. Nordström |
The stockhorse championship was once again rather small but no lack of beautiful horses for that. I don't have any stockhorse resins (or, I do but they need to be fixed before they can show) so I had the pleasure of just sitting back and relax and watch all the pretty horses in this championship.

Champion Stockhorse: R. Dirty Cash, Rio Rondo QH #1 by Carol Williams
Champion Stockhorse Reserve: Dunnit Smoothly, Little Lonestar rep. P. Lawson |
Next championship was a little more busy for me as it was the sporthorse championship. I showed a total of 3 models in two different classes. This was the championship I had highest hope for since my Chester VS (Eberl Caitano rep. S. Nordström) usually does really well. This time it wasn't really his day. He placed fourth in his class, but my Belize (Eberl Genoveva rep. S. Nordström) won the class so I was very happy anyway. And then Lost All Hope (Kitty Didit rep. Lexie Lawrynovicz) took second in her class. I was really happy about my placings but to top it all of Belize went on to claim the Champion title! I was thrilled!

Champion Sporthorse: Belize, Eberl Genoveva rep. S. Nordström
Champion Sporthorse Reserve: Impuls VS, Eberl Firenze rep. S. Nordström |
I was still a little unfocused on the show (because I was so happy Belize did so good) when the drafter championship started. Luckily I didn't have to be too focused as I only had one horse to show. My tiny micro mini Brigadier by Maggie Bennett and painted by A. Gustafsson, Ayers Rock Brigadör, placed first in his class. Showing him is really fun and you never know where he will place, sometimes he does great and sometimes he doesn't.

Champion Drafter: Chére Amie, Winter's Whimsy rep. S. Nordström
Champion Drafter Reserve: Belle, Tinkerbelle rep. P. Lawson |
Somehow I've ended up with a LOT of ponies. I like ponies, I do, but I prefer sporthorses so I'm always surprised when I see how many ponies I have. I had 5 to show, 4 riding ponies and 1 connemara. Colibri Daughter (Sifton Pasha rep. S. Nordström), If I Could Dream (HA Misty Dawn rep. A. Gustafsson), Impuls (Tivoli rep. A. Dionne) and Bellini of Decorima (Lakeshore Houdini OF) placed second, third, fifth and sixth in their class, which I think is pretty good. Epsilon (NL New Forest OF) placed second in his class.

Champion Pony: Ölandstokens Snömonster, Wee Jay rep. S. Nordström
Champion Pony Reserve: Al Capone, Kipling rep. S. Nordström |
The next two championships were very calm to me as I had no more horses to show in this division. I just enjoyed the horses. There were several really nice ones!
|
Champion Wild horse and Crossbreeds: Sahale J, El Embosco rep. S. Nordström
Champion Wild horse and Crossbreeds Reserve: Shilah J, Caldero rep. S. Nordström |
Last up, just as before was the beautiful longears and other equus.
|
Champion Other Equus: Rufus, Resin rep. S. Nordström
Champion Other Equus Reserve: Alfons, Hey Mule rep. C. Jolly |
All my models have made me very proud and I've won quite a few new ones for my collection. Great show!
In the next post I'll show you the Grand Champions and Best in Shows :)
