I logged onto my computer today and checked my blog. This is what welcomed me:
My blog has reached more than 20.000 views! Wow, I didn't think it would happen so fast! I had the goal to reach 20.000 views by the end of the year and it's not even August yet! I can't believe it, I'm so happy! :D
Thank you so much for helping me reach this milestone! My next goal will be to reach 50.000 views, and when I do, I think I'll host some kind of small giveaway to give something back to my readers :)

Wordless Wednesday Jumping
This is my first post of pictures (and also the biggest) from Falsterbo Horse Show. I will post all these picture posts as "wordless Wednesday" posts.
The pictures in today's post are from the 2 jumping classes we saw and the combined jumping/cross country class.
Unfortunately it was raining pretty much the entire day so pictures are not the best but I've decided to share some of my favourites.
Most horses in the jumping classes were bay or grey. |
Yay, a chestnut! |
Nope, not jumping that water! |
If I remember correctly this pair unfortunately got eliminated on the water obstacle. |
Nope, not jumping that... |
But second try was better! |
I loved the facial marking of this guy! |
This horse looked so sweet. |
It looked like a close call but the horse slid over the obstacle, landed almost like after a normal jump, and continued on like nothing had happened. |
The award ceremony with all the applauding people was a bit frightening for this horse. |
Another chestnut! |
Dapples! |
Another "Nope, not jumping". |
Another really sweet horse! |
I really liked this grey! |
Happy winner! |

Oreo part 1
Small things are happening in the studio :) Let me introduce Oreo. She is a Schleich Great Dane in the process of being repainted.
She will be a semi-portrait of a dog, with the same name, that I met at the farm where I volunteered in South Africa last year.
She still has some way to go before she'll be done. When she's finished I'll show you pictures of the real dog that inspired this semi-portrait too.

Realta
The sharp-eyed people have probably seen this girl in my unpainted resins post. This Realta resin was my graduation gift for myself.
I only found out about this resin after she was sold out but got the chance to be put up on a waiting list in case anyone decided to pass on their copy.
I got an email about a few resins and a few seconds that the sculptor had for sale and I jumped on the opportunity. I bought a second who had some airbubbles and small pinholes.
I used my apoxie to fill in several of the holes and sanded down most of her seams. She'll soon have her first layer of primer so that I can pinpoint the areas that need more work.
She has a beautiful face and I'm sure she'll be an absolute beauty once she's painted.
At the moment I'm thinking dark bay or dapple grey, warmblood or riding pony.
She came with the cutest thank you card...
...and her Certificate of Authenticity.

Update
Things have been incredibly busy at work for the last week (and weekend) and I haven't had time to do much else than sleep, eat and work. However yesterday I spent the day with my mother at Falsterbo Horse Show, an annual horse show not far from where my parents lived.
I took no less than 1624 pictures yesterday and I'll need to sort them out but as soon as I have, I'll show you some of my favourite pictures. I also have two model-related post in the works so hopefully it won't be too long until my next post :)
