Plans

On SMHML, The Swedish Model Horse Mailing List, we have a little " tradition" sort of, where we in the beginning of a year tell eachother what plans or hopes we have for our collections in the new year. So I thought I'd make a little post about what I plan for 2013.

- Attend at least one liveshow
To my knowledge their will be at least one show within driving distance from me this year so hopefully I will be able to attend at least one :)

- Get my RC Bruno painted as a portrait of Unik
I bought this model with the intent of getting him painted as a portrait years ago and it would be nice to finally have him painted.

- Get my RC Mini Haggis painted
My poor mini Haggis have been sitting on my shelf for more years then I am willing to admit and I do know that he wants to be a bright bay with high whites and a big blaze so I just need to get him painted.

- Paint some of my poor naked horses
In 2012 I didn't paint a lot so hopefully 2013 will be better.

- Obtain an Eberl Siegfried to paint as a portrait of Poppes
Poppes is my "loan" horse. A beautiful chestnut warmblood gelding who I fell for the first time I saw him years ago.

- Obtain an Eberl Elsa to paint as a portrait of Wera.
Wera was a chestnut warmblood mare at my school. She was such a sweet, simple mare. Or simple might be the wrong word since not everyone could ride her. I can't say why we worked well together. I'm not the best rider, I'll admit that, but we just got along and it just worked. I trusted her and I think she trusted me too. Unfortunately she had to be put down due to a severely injured leg after she got in a fuss with some other horses out in the pasture.

- Obtain at least one horse for my Strapless conga
I adore the Strapless mold but I don't have to own every single horse done on the mold. I prefer the ones painted in solid colors. So for 2013 I want to add Headley Britannia, the Pottery Barn SR Strapless, Bees Knees or Party Girl. Wouldn't be sad if I got my hands on a Tiramisu ;)

- Get started showing with the IMEHA
I am registered but my login didn't work so I'll have to get it to work and send in some photos.

- Finish my website and organize my pedigrees
Take photos for my website and organize my pedigrees in a binder.

Lets see how this will work out for me :)
