Live show report part 1: Plastic OF and CM Division

The day of the show started out with the Plastic OF and CM division and first up were the foals. My foals did good, I only showed two foals in this division but they did good. Black Pepper (Breyer Tr. Zenyatta's First Foal OF) placed second in his class, earning himself a qualification to the Swedish equivalent of NAN.

My other foal was R. Peppermint (Peter Stone Weanling rr S. Nordström) who won her class. I was quite certain that the day couldn't start out any better, at least until the Champion voting came and my R. Peppermint claimed the Champion title. I was thrilled!

Champion Foal: R. Peppermint, PS Weanling rr, S. Nordström
Champion Foal Reserve: Izabelle, PS Syracuse OF
On to the arabian classes and there were SO much eye candy! I'm a fan of the Breyer classic arabian mare and there were loads! My own OF classic arabian mare Shaniqua made me proud when she took first in her class and Farasha (Breyer Tr. Weather Girl Thunderstorm OF) placed second in her class. I was very happy about that. The competition for the Championship titles were tough and the winners were both very well done.

Champion Arabian: Sameerah, Breyer Cl. Arabian Mare cm Q. Van de Weijde
Champion Arabian Reserve; Andalib, Breyer Tr. Weather Girl repainted by P. Lawson
Next up was the riding- and carriage horse championship and it was a mix of European and American breeds. My first horse in the division was White Phantom (Breyer Tr. Templado OF) and he placed third in his class, to bad he didn't get a qualification card but he had tough competition and the two who placed before him really were better. A lot of the classes contained lots of beautiful horses and I'm quite happy I didn't have to judge them!

Bocelli (Breyer Tr. Tregoyd Journeyman OF) was next up and he won his class. He really tends to do well at shows for me, The next class I showed horses in was the American Saddlebred class. I showed Since You Don't Love Me (Breyer Sm. G2 ASB rep. A. Gustafsson) and Lotus (Breyer Tr. Harmonie Tuigpaard OF). They did good and placed first and third. My last horse in the championship was Ancient Gold (Breyer Tr. Akhal-Teke OF) and he did good too and took second in his class.

The championship voting was tough but my Since You Don't love me took a champion reserve title behind a beautifully painted icelandic horse.

Champion Riding- and Carriage horse: Raben frá Soleyar, Safari Icelandic Horse rep. C. Brennholt
Champion Riding- and Carriage horse reserve: Since You Don't Love Me, Breyer Sm. G2 ASB
Next championship was the stockhorse championship. It was quite a bit smaller than usual but still competitive. My only stockhorse, Chocolate (Breyer Impress Me Shannon OF) took second in his class.

Champion Stockhorse: R. Nikki Sixx, PS ISH rh S. Nordström
Champion Stockhorse reserve: Visibly Crazy, Breyer Hannoveraner rrh Lori Daniels
Next up was the championship I've been looking forward to the most, Sporthorses! I showed 7 horses in this championship with various results. Phoenix (Breyer Tr. Mistral Hojris OF) took third in his class (out of three). Charisma (Breyer Tr. GG Valentine OF) and Destiny (Breyer Tr. Headley Britannia OF) showed in the same class and earned second and fifth place (out of five). Lord (Breyer Tr. Keltic Salinero OF) took second in his class. Imperia (Breyer Tr. Sidesaddle Strapless OF) did best of my plastic sporthorse lot today when she took first place in her class. My two thoroughbreds Sunny Side N (Breyer Tr. Seattle Slew OF) and Nimble's Last Thief (Breyer Tr. Zenyatta OF) took second and third in their class. Competition was tough in the championship voting and I knew that Imperia would have a hard time placing when I saw the callback table. Nevertheless I'm proud of my sporthorses.

Champion Sporthorse: Tristan CH, CollectA Hanoverian rep. P. Nilsson
Champion Sporthorse reserve: Dirac VS, Breyer Tr. Totilas rep, S. Nordström
Drafters are another scarce type in my plastic collection and I only had one participant in this big championship, Fallen Warrior (Breyer Tr. Foxvalley Oliver OF) who took second in his class.

Champion Drafter: Trollvind, Breyer Sm. G3 Highland Pony cm. P. Nilsson
Champion Drafter reserve: Montgomery, Breyer Tr. Gypsy Vanner rep. D. Brown
The pony championship wasn't as big as it has been in some shows but it suited me very well as I only had one horse to show. My Peter Stone Pony Shoal OF who I call Remembrance took first in his class.
Champion Pony: Vind-Ile, CollectA Dartmoor rep. P. Nilsson
Champion Pony reserve: Fiddeli J, Britains Shetland rep. S. Nordström
The wild horses and crossbreeds championship was very small and I had my last horse in this division in this championship. It was my Breyer Hidalgo OF, who I call Fuego, and he took second in his class. He also proved to be good enough too secure the champion reserve title. My third title of the day! My horses really made me proud!

Champion Wild horses and crossbreeds: Llaqtaymanta, Breyer Tr. Indian Pony rep. S. Nordström
Champion Wild horses and crossbreeds: Fuego, Breyer Tr. Hidalgo OF
The other Equus championship was also very small but there still were quite a few nice competitors, none of mine though as I don't have any other equus.

Champion other Equus: Tilda, PS Chips Mule rep. S. Nordström
Champion other Equus reserve: Zelda, PS Chips Mule OF
Next show report will cover the resin division! Stay tuned :)
