Liveshow

Saturday it was time for a very longed for liveshow. And to me it was probably one of the best liveshows ever, even before the show officially started! I'll tell you why in upcoming posts.

The show was an all halter show divided into two bigger divisions and 7 small, specialdivisions.

The bigger divisions were Plastic (OF and CM) and Resin.

And the small specialdivisions were:
Vintage (models made before 2005)
Breyer Stablemates and Peter Stone Chips (both OF and CM)
Micro Mini
Fantasy
Breakables (Porcelain)
Bendables (Schleich, CollectAs and the like)
Novice

It was a very pleasant show with so many nice persons and it was quite a relaxed and friendly environment.

I'll give you a complete show report in a few posts over the next weeks but for now you'll have to settle for some pictures of the participants tables :)

Last picture of my table :)
People walking by my table kept asking me if I like bay horses, and I'm like, no, not really, I'm more of a chestnut person. Looking at my table, but that is not quite obvious...

There were SO many gorgeous models and as always I feel very much inspired and I'm looking forward to painting more models and attend a show again soon.

Upcoming liveshow

I just sent in my entry for a liveshow on April 25.

I can't wait! It's been a year since I last went to a show and I'm eager to see how my models do. It's the same old showstring I'm bringing, with a few exceptions, hopefully.

My tivoli resin, who I bought last year will go to his first show with me:

He will be called Impuls, at least for now as I haven't figured out a better name for him and the fact that he was an impulse buy, made the name good enough for now. He will be shown as a Swedish Riding Pony, in lack of a better breed assignment. I really need some help on that apartment, especially on this guy!

And then to the hopefully new faces in my showstring:

Dixi, the donkey foal

Ofelia, the riding pony mare

Prancer, the thoroughbred mare

And Estelle, the mule molly.

They've all gotten a bit more colour since these pictures but they still have a long way to go before they are finished. Why do I always have to be out in the last minute with my projects for liveshows?

It'll be fun to see if I manage to finish at least one of them! Wish me luck! :)
